According to this the growth rate is average 1.5% a year, which means the population doubles every 46.6 years.
That means in the last 46.6 years our population doubled. And it will double in the next 46 years also.

Right, and you're taking the average of a population growth rate graph from the last 47 years, which has been on a steady decline since 1971. The average of that graph is completely irrelevant, you dolt. |
