i'm pretty sure we're going to get the first 2 hours unedited, which isn't bad because he ID'd 2 new dakota tracks. his intro was pretty sick too, voice over about how the world is going to end into wippenberg - UR big room recon.

the good thing is that even the casual fan enjoys his style because of how good he is with getting the crowd involved.

best crowd interaction of ANY DJ period! He gets so involved with the crowd. Every time I would say something with the LED Banner app on my phone he would point right at me and smile (ex. held up message: DOWN THE RABBIT HOLE and he pointed and made the gesture of going down)! Such a ing great DJ!

I completely agree. I had to cut out around 4 so I missed things getting twisted, but wow, his track selection and mixing are on another level than any of the other top djs I've ever seen. He can read the crowd perfectly, knows when to slow things down, speed things up, and drop bombs.
He's going to be playing at Ruby Skye the weekend of 4th of July, I'm definitely considering making the trip up for that night.

No excuse, but got there at 9:30 and stayed on the main dance floor to ensure I wouldn't be stuck upstairs while Markus was spinning.

Markus absolutely destroyed Avalon! I've seen him a million times but never at Avalon and that set over that sound system was just a 5.5 hour sonic mind :eyespop: Was so good to finally get a real Markus club set in LA vs the short sets we get at the "festivals". Hope Markus + Avalon becomes a regular thing.
