To all those wondering why people have negative suspicions about the US in this, do you really forget about the WMD already? That was their one big reason for going into Iraq and look at what a mess that turned into. Sorry but once you F up on that scale and sacrifice that many lives, you lose the majority of your credibility. Takes time and good behaviour to regain trust and when the Iraq thing is where it is at now, all over a false catalyst, sorry not even close to that point yet...
The one thing I will say is that if the US is actually dumb enough to start something on another front and make it 3 at once, all in the middle of record deficits, debt, and a huge recession, well then they deserve the further downgrading of their country that that would bring. |
