Gulf Coast oil spill 2.0 (pg. 3)

point taken, however there's also this

BP has operations in over 80 countries, produces around 3.8 million barrels of oil equivalent per day and has 22,400 service stations worldwide. Its largest division is BP America, which is the biggest producer of oil and gas in the United States and is headquartered in Houston, Texas. It was just funny for us to see the US blame it on being "British" when we'd not thought of it that way for so long. Like British Telecom is supposedly a company from here but it might as well be Bangalore Telecom these days.

This is the dumbest thread I have ever read IN. MY. ENTIRE. LIFE.

:whip: :whip:
How the hell does an international oil company's oil spill equate to the fault of a typical southern citizen? OMG my brain hurts just thinking about how DUMB the OP is.

The southerners caused this because, they, what? Wanted tourism to go away? To lose a massive amount of jobs? Wanted their economy to plummet? Wanted their waters to be unsafe? And I am sure you are referring to the teachers, firemen, policewomen and doctors who have spent their entire lives working on the oilworks, and thus it MUST be their fault that these things are malfunctioning?? And when there was an oil spill on the west coast, did we blame the every day person there?

I swear to ing god I need to step away from the computer..........The amount of stupidity on TA lately is making me rage.
