oh yeah man

what do u guys think?

If I had a bit of money I'd be tempted to buy the upgrade right now. I like the colour layout a lot more although I'm not sure I'd use the sample decks that much.

Maybe with them at my finger tips I'd get more into creating small samples etc. Will be interesting when I first get my hands on it..

Have you got Traktor already? Or just thinking of getting on board?

i pre ordered the audio10 hardware upgrade, it should come sometime this week. The demo isn't that bad i like the colored waveforms. i haven't used the sample decks yet. im going to give it a try soon. The latency feature has changed a bit. It looks more precise than before.

There's a hardware upgrade option? Interesting.. will investigate now.

NI announced the upgrade on April 1st. They are a day ahead! I hope that is a good thing. Speaking of good things, I am downloading to upgrade Traktor Scratch Pro to Traktor Scratch Pro 2. Let me give back to everyone this week and for my full review.

I have the full version and it works great... not a whole lot has changed for me, but I was already using S4 which integrated most of the new features early.

But yes, great software.

edit - also, I'm excited that I'll be able to add timecode functionality to the S4.

That is deadly news.. Will be nice when playing with other dj's as well.
Not sure if I'm going to bother upgrading just yet. Might let the dust settle first. Partially also due to the fact that I don't have 70 euro lying around :(

Yes, it really makes it the perfect all-in-one solution. If the gig has tables, I can use it like Traktor Scratch. If not (and I don't feel like bringing mine), I'm still not really out anything. Exciting!

i've started to think about some kind of "live act" i already have an old midi keyboard that i'd be willing to carry to the gigs along with the laptop or cds (personally cds if it's possible) and a bcd 3000 , i'd use the bcd 3000 to mix but i've seen samples written here, should the bcd 3000 be able to manage this new sampling feature or do i need a suitable controller?¿
Shudder
tried out the demo. definitly more visually appealing. i think its a little more sensitve too

I don't see why it wouldn't work. On the S4, you select how many bars you want the sample recorder to capture, and then you just hit a button to trigger when you want it to start recording. It records the next X amount of bars and automatically loops. Don't see why you couldn't simulate that with any controller.

WOW!!!! I'm in love with the new TRAKTOR 2.0!!! Been messing with it all night. NI took it to a whole different level. Serato needs to step it up quick!
