| I think Americans and the English tend to not argue well. When J calls you a dip, it means more of "you're being stupid" than him actually not liking you as a person. I could be wrong, but they weren't really trying to be mean to you or hate on you as a person, but you escalated things with your defensiveness. Still, as was pointed out earlier, while J wasn't arguing with you like a schoolgirl, he was quoting actual facts, while you were just trying to defend yourself by calling people names. |

on a more even-keeled note, all i said was the core of chelsea is old. the warhorses that chelsea has relied upon the last 5-6 years -- they have carried the club but they don't have the same aggression that they did even last year. look at lampard this year. he doesn't look the same. the young guys (aside from the ones you listed) have to prove themselves yet for chelsea. there's no disputing this point, right? |

it was stupid, i know, but actually very true. seemed somewhat relevant given the connection that had been posited.

I'm not mad at all. I don't have any problem with you whatsoever, and I think you contribute well to certain discussions. I was just pointing out the fact that you seem to care what the older members on this forum think of you (i.e. automatically agreeing with SYSTEM-J once he's already won an argument, inquiring as to why Jay hates you just because he took some shots at you a few times, etc.).
Also I didn't mean to slight you in any way by saying LAwhatever, I just didn't feel like typing out LAdazeNYnights. I think you're reading into it too much if you think it was a "tactic." Again, you're getting defensive over nothing.
I ain't mad at you bro. |

Jesus. Where do I begin? I'm not trying to perpetuate this thing (I didn't even intend it to come as far as it came) so all I will say is that "the core of Chelsea is getting old" is not a fact, it's an opinion. I respect your opinion.

If this is directed at me: The only name I called System-J was "clueless". I called him clueless because what I gathered from his implications was that Chelsea's roster was over the hill. You'd have to be an idiot to think that. I asked him a few questions and stated my opinion. System-J escalated things at will and not once did I call him out personally until my very last post. Because his vocabulary is a lot more colorful than mine his posts look a lot prettier and I can see why you would take his side, but I think you should re-read.
