You look cute without makeup (and with it, too.)

Congrats on the legal name change and all.

I hear you came out with all of this here back in April. Did you delete the thread or something? i wanted to have a read.

I'm personally not gender-dysphoric, as far as I know, since I'm not uncomfortable being physically male (I'm just more comfortable in the female role) so I can't fully understand what you're going through, but I wish you luck achieving what you want.

You should totally take a pic every week for a period of... lets say a year, same room, same position, same facial expression, no makeup, the after put it into a cool gif (something like this http://patricia.mobile9.com/downloa...ch_131qsnhp.gif)

If the female stuff is really kicking in and youre felling especially evil, make the gif, but in reverse and troll unsuspecting people with it.

Your hair looks like it's greying in those last photos, Avana.

yes, the thread served its purpose and then was starting to cramp my google style, so i got rid of it. i'm through with the shock factor/drama part of it, and everyone here knows i'm a transwoman now, not that they even needed to in the first place.

there were predictable and unpredictable aspects of it. i came out to all my friends and family on april 1. someone on this forum (ted promo) eventually found out and made a thread which basically outed me. in order to take control of the situation, i made a thread and came out and generally answered everyone's questions. most of the people here were surprisingly wonderful and good natured about it. there have been a few here and there who haven't been so wonderful about it. then predictably SYSTEM-J started an argument with my life choices, and then the TA Lynh mob began to insinuate that I did this because I was desperate to be a minority of some sort :haha:

as far as gender dysphoria goes, it doesn't necessarily mean unhappiness with sex characteristics - but can also simply be unhappiness with gender role. 'transsexual' is a limited and extreme medical classification of gender dysphoria. plenty of transgender people never take hormones or have surgery to alter their bodies.

eh... no. i'm 25 years old, and my hair is healthier than ever after starting hormones and being on a biotin regimen. you might be reacting to the flash?
