i somewhat agree with that. there was a time that i was all about the playoffs no matter what but now i'm an adult and i don't have time to watch it all. also my team never made the playoffs so the interest level has always been about the quality of the match ups and my schedule. also, i never played but i find women's hockey to be boring so don't think i missed too much :tongue2.

this game is epic. I called a 6-6 during the 2nd period, so let's see...

i only watched the 3rd and highlights but what a strange game! from what i saw those were some nice goals but i'll be interested in seeing what happens in Game 3; the lightning's coach wasn't too happy with the "pond hockey" so should be interesting to see a change in style. as for that seguin kid, love pleasant surprises like him in the playoffs.

Sick.

That isn't even close to a sick goal. All he really used was his speed to get past the D and the move on the goalie is something anyone in my beer league can do.

Coolest story on the internet, bro.

, so you can answer this for me. I've always thought that being a goaltender in hockey must be the most stressful position in all of sports. Is that true? Every goaltender I've ever met has been a complete nut job. That must be ridiculous having hard pieces of rubber being shot very hard at you when you can't even see them half the time.

It's always been between goaltender in hockey and pitcher in baseball for me. Pitchers are taught that every pitch needs to be perfect. Missing their spot by 2 inches can be the difference between a K and a homerun.
