Boston was bound to start getting some bounces their way after 2 miserable games. They still didn't show much, and barely walked out with the win. A good game no matter what the result, a sweep was never going to happen either way, so now the entertainment value is going to go through the roof in this series.
Tim thomas is so nervous. The B's might actually use Rask soon i think.
Philly Buf was a good game too from what i was able to see. The wings are making the Coyotes look like bitches. The wings will beat Vancouver.
BTG lol...you hate the french because they tend to speak multiple languages and have the basics such as a high school diploma. They do suck at golf though, that is more of a Toronto thing. |

| Can someone please explain the rule that allows goalies to just take their helmets off in order to stop a play? From where I was sitting at the game last night Boucher hadn't even gotten hit in the mask, and his helmet looked pretty securely on his head, but he conveniently took the mask off to stop play right when Buffalo was starting to get a lot of pressure on him. |

The ref either did not see it or deemed it to be a judgment call. The rule is clear, if the goalie loses his helmet the play must be stopped immediately. There is no room for other interpretation, nor is there a rule to be able to call a delay of game penalty if the goalie is deemed to have taken off his mask to stop the play.
The Nhl rule book is too confusing, but the refs are bound by it. Every playoff game is scrutinized by the nhl and the further the playoffs go, only the refs that are deemed to call it like it is continue working. You will never see a ref go against the rules because of this. |

| They need to make some changes then. It was pretty blatant that he took the mask off himself when it at least looked like it was still pretty secure on his head. The timing of it happening just as the Sabres got a ton of pressure on him seemed like more than just a coincidence. |
