question .. osheaga @ piknic july 31st can regular people outside of osheaga get tickets for this?

i was just reading this

"Please note, July 29, 30, and 31st are the dates in which we take part in Osheaga, which is not part of our regular programming. To attend these dates, you must have an Osheaga pass or ticket. Box office here."

and curious to how much it would be to attend because it almost sounds as if you need an osheaga pass, which is really for reversed seating elsewhere.. anyone know?

thx

edit; also found this; *** IMPORTANT: the pass does not include access to Piknic @ Osheaga events, July 29th, 30th and 31st. Only festival-goers with Osheaga passes/tickets will be admitted (for tickets: www.osheaga.com/fr/tickets). However, if you purchase your Osheaga pass at the same moment as your Piknic pass on Ticketpro.ca, you will obtain your three day Osheaga pass at a special rate of $200 ($27 off the regular price). Buy here.

soo you cannot attend whatsoever without a stupid osheaga pass thats like min. 75$ for a single general admission pass?

Yeah you have to actually buy a seperate osheaga ticket for the osheaga events which is really gay :( Cause i wanted to see the big bird(Claude Vonstroke) in action but its a waste of money :(

Great piknic; Matt and Maher sounded twice as good as usual after some of the stuff I heard the night before at soul clap :p

Oshega pays for the use of the island...piknik does not.I think its nice that they get to attach themselves to a big mainstream event like this. What you have access to for that price is pretty damn good. Do you guys really think that they could have a second admission just for piknik people? It would never work. The calder functions as the VIP bar lounge area for this event, the area assigned to piknik would not be able to handle the traffic that a 10 dollar ticket creates.

Don't bring your lunches to this one either, you will be made to throw it out.

Very nice

Official # is 6895 people that showed on opening day, which is a record! Plus who knows how many people turned away, when they heard it was like an hour to wait.

Congrats Piknic.

One thing I hated, is the ATM that never gave me my $40 and still shows that it was removed from my account :whip: I am so not trusting Piknic's ATM ever again.

it isn't their ATM. the company should be on the receipt jesse, we had this problem too last year and with a phone call it was resolved. Hit me up on facebook if it doesn't work out.

I never got the receipt. Waited 5 mins and it kept showing transaction in process, kept trying to cancel. I called my bank and told them the problem, hopefully some other people from RBC had the same problem that day.

those machines rob you in service fees, but if they want to be able to keep them, they can't rob you. Trust me, so long as you are annoying, it will be fixed:D
