I'm a big fan of Frivolous who used to live in MTL (may even be from here if I'm not mistaken).
Saw his live at Igloofest a few years ago I posted a video on youtube. Very original and fresh funky sound. He puts on a great show with some weird live stuff up his sleeve and sings live...well at least he tries to sing lol(see video below)
His 2011 album on Cadenza is one of my favorite LP for the summer (on my favorite label too). Frivoulous was always a great producer releasing fun tracks... but with this release on Cadenza he is getting serious!
I highly recommend this Piknic event on July 17...this music is perfect for piknic, vibe will be unreal if it's nice out!:-)
