You could actually slightly see lawler in my original video but he disappears during youtube's encoding process :(

As for Lawler's set @ CZ... am I the only one that wasn't liking it much? I thought Christina Cruise/Ten played a lot better after

Interesting tidbit about the track in the video - Nathan played it during his opening set for Lawler @ Guv in 2006. Credit: Knox

Did nobody shoot this boat?

other than the video from miriam, and the few pics francis got?

THATS retarded.

as for no pics/video at cz....I almost got them to bite a couple halloweens ago.

I think the rule is archaic and stupid, and with technology in the hands of everyone now capable of taking pics....why have fuzzy hard to make out ones, when u can have PROPER ones taken by PROPER photographers....professionals, that even if they found something of a sketchy nature in a shot or two....WOULDN'T post them publicly.

I catch people doing stupid all over the city, and I dont post it when I catch it anywhere else, why would I do it at zone.

Seems like a dumb 90's rule thats carried over well into the 2000's and will probably never change, cause nobody has half a brain in this city anymore.

that rule is only stupid if you go out to get your picture taken, because facebook is so cool, everyone look at me! i'm like so rave!

meanwhile, people there to have fun can do so without worrying about a coworker seeing them in a compromising position.

the best clubs in the world have a no camera policy...they even make you check your cellphone at the door. the only people that care couldn't get in anyways;)
Digit ILL
no discernible difference between what is going on in gallery at 3:30am, footwork at 3:30 am and comfort zone at 9:30am.

I can shoot someone doing something stupid at any one of these places at anytime....even other places nevermind....that arent afterhours.

why zone continues to not allow photos makes no sense to me, and never will.
Digit ILL
Thats the problem with the world. People being they're MOST REAL partying with friends having a great time....being themselves....and they're scared someone might see that at work.

pffffft.

god forbid i look like i have a life outside my work environmentment.

I thought his first half was zzzzzzzz. He really picked it up for a while near the end though. Overall I wasn't terribly impressed. Definitely won't be making the effort to see him again.

if you can't see how pictures might affect the perception of employers and coworkers, it's either welfare, or "would you like fries with that.".

continue "being real", those of us with good jobs will continue paying taxes so that one day you may have the methadone you need for free.

I'm not saying cz should have a weekly photographer....lmao

i'm saying for instances when u have people like steve lawler at the club, and everyone is trying to take bb and iphone pics of the guy, maybe a real photog ain't that bad an idea......

& ESPECIALLY on halloween.

I know most of the GOOD photogs in the city, arent shooting renegade style and shooting people that are FACKED without them knowing it....

I personally, and I know the other PROPER photographers are aware of the environment <(happy now??) and are always asking people if they want they're photograph taken....

so your point of being caught in a compromising position, is for amateurs.

Digit ILL
as for wanting fries with that, i've found people that resort to personal insults during a discussion, usually have something they want to cover up about themselves.

I'm pretty sure my job as an event photographer in the city for the last decade on its own is a "real, tax paying job" not to mention all the other things I shoot, OUTSIDE the club scene......

so if you'd like fries with that, i'd spend a little less time picking fights on the internet, and go order a hamburger first.
