If that guy can shoot there, any professional should be able to as well. And again, for the record, i'm not saying all the time or even frequently.
I just think a cz halloween gallery, would be the best all time club photos in toronto gallery of all time.
Its a personal opinion, and i'm not trying to push it on anyone.
Other photographers get it. |

i can understand that.
i don't go there anyways. but when i did visit, one of the best parts would be the fact that only the people that were there would know.
and really, all people just want to do the one thing they are told they can't. |

I dont even go to the place either. For MANY reasons.
But that doesnt mean as a photographer thats shot everything from raves in the basement of the ontario science centre, to airplane hangers, to the guv on its WORST day, and everything in between....its like a pebble in my shoe...... |

For that type of club, here would be the usual rules that you can suggest to the management:
-no flash used
-no recognizable face from the crowd
-all pictures reviewed and approved by management before going online
I know alot of "event" photographer who have too much ego/tech and skills limitation to be able to work in those conditions.

I hate flash personally.

Dunno if you're familiar with the guv but ya, a guy going in their 50s there is the norm so he's not any less credible to comment on the norm than others due to age. Seen a lot more fuct up shat regularly than that.
As for zone attendees there's tons of reasons people would go there. Yes for all night partying, yes for killer music you can't find elsewhere in the city, yes for many other things but you can't group everyone into the same category.
Like Jon said no cameras kind of fit in with the atmosphere. Aside from that there's tons of legal protection by not allowing cameras in there, and CZ is a place that needs all the legal protection it can get. |

I love no camera policies. What happens there stays there, and its sacred.
And I'm not talking about zone, I haven't even been in like 5 years for my own reasons, just at certain clubs in general. |

I would never even wanna put the gallery online....i'd just want the shots from halloween to do a gallery show in the future and thats it. no faces. no flash. no faces in the crowd. just everything you couldnt that was crazy you couldn't identify if u had too.
I dunno, call me stupid or smelly like garbage for wanting to have such images....its just something i've always wanted to shoot.

Never ceases to amaze me at how much people care what people who they don't even know do. Rule of thumb, if it doesn't affect you or degrade the general quality of society then let it be. Better stuff to care about at the end of the day. |
