| well its been a slice but i gotta run, my welfare cheque just arrived, gotta go spend my money on getting facebook models some coke for the weekend, my methadone, and stop by the landfill to get a shirt....i've been hired to shoot all weekend, so I guess i'll just have to go to my ty "job" if u can call it that. |

| Personally, I think the only people that should be allowed to take photos or video in any club should be people hired by the club or the promoter of the event. Anyone who has a device that could be used as a camera or video camera should have to check it with security and can pick it up when they leave. |

I agree. We're hired for a reason. And I feel bad when djs and the crowd are bombarded with camera flashes. One photographer is plenty.

back in 2001, I shot a rave for destiny, i also sold digital prints at the event, and because I did so, they implemented a no personal cameras of any kind policy........
it didnt go over so well with the people.
since that time, theres a zillion handheld devices that are photograph capable on the market.
Telling someone they can't bring they're phone into the club, will never ever ever happen, and while I agree with Jill and the previous poster, it's just something that will NEVER EVER happen. |

To tell you the truth I forgot. I was asked after videoing a clip of Lawler behind the booth and turned them down right away. |

there are many clubs...not in toronto though...that have such a policy that you can't bring any recording devices into them. |
