Ok, what are you hearing exactly? I'm using headphones. Are you hearing it when I cue the next track or something? You shouldn't be. I'm confused! |

Definitely hearing when you cue. Most tracks are way off on beatmatching, and the the transitions make it sound really harsh. It's doing it again now.
Don't mix with headphones without a monitor, even if they're just normal speakers to use for monitoring. |

I don't know what's happening.
I have my mixer set up to my studio monitors, which are supposed to be playing the master out (which is what you should be hearing).
I'm using my headphones to cue. It's a pretty normal setup.
It sounds alright to me. It's all beatmatched, and the EQs are sometimes a little off, but nothing too crazy.
Maybe what's playing through to the stream isn't the master or something? I have no idea. |

No idea either, then. You've got your setup sorted out, for sure.
Can I ask you about the hiphop you're playing now? Do you intentionally up-and-down the volume? because that's what I'm getting here, a couple of times in this track. |

No, that's just because it's a ty YouTube rip. :p
The track is "Swang" by Pimp C, Trae, and Hawk.
So you would actually hear it when I would cue a song for a few seconds like in the middle of another song? That's freaking weird, it shouldn't be doing that. This is the same setup I use when I play out, and I've never had that happen. Obviously I have something configured wrong for the stream... |

Sorry for the late reply, I went to make dinner :p
To answer, yes - I could definitely hear quite clearly when you cue tracks, before you brought them into the mix. I was almost certainly hearing what you could hear in your headphones, together with what you intended me to be able to hear, in the mix. The Chem Bros track was the most obvious, from the top of my head, but there were 7 or 8 other transitions where it was all busted together.
Not trying to be a dick, sorry man. You gotta know that stuff, to do it live would be badddddd :p |

I didn't play a Chemical Brothers track. I'm pretty sure I don't even own any Chemical Brothers.
Another friend of mine who was listening said it sounded fine to them. Are you sure you didn't have two things playing at once on your computer? |
