| I've always wanted to ask this question - does the broadcast *have* to be run through the TA server, or can we break with tradition and use one of our own choice? I'm a mixlr kinda particular individual - am I going to get rained on if I post that url instead? Hankering for a dark, rainy-day set mit der black crack after I'm done lunching, so an immediate response is in order. :p |

No. If I have to stream through my old Powerbook, then I have to use a separate stream, as the software is too old and won't connect to the TA server. It's totally fine, provided you still respect anybody that may already be streaming (don't start a second broadcast while someone else is already going). |
