A lot of the praise needs to be given to the producers who are putting out phenomenal stuff right now. The likes of Hernan & Digweed are able to do that much more when the stuff they are playing is top notch.
In regards to the tempo, he started exactly where he normally would.. It wasn't slow.

this was the definition of a perfect night out at guv! most definitely a world class party and i'm so glad to be able to have experienced it. from the crowd (for the most part) --> music --> lighting --> sound/acoustics --> technicality --> transitions (ie. intros & closing of sets) --> friends --> weather .... it was a 9.5/10 night for me without a doubt!!
MO : give the guy props - he looks good in his new doo and set digweed up for a grand slam :stongue: his 15 min leading into digweed was dope!
digweed had the best intro to date IMO; played a bit more melodic & uplifting prog in his first 1.5 hrs but i thought it was tastefully done and if anyone could pull off the more sasha sound it might as well be digweed lol. he was meticulous with his intro which carried into the mind onslaught he delivered...
he REALLY brought it from 2:45-4:15am - musically that was one of the best 1.5hrs or so i've ever heard and can compare it to tenaglia at stereo last july. lights were very dark, a bit more dancing room at the back, nice blasts of non-nitro fresh air (wtf was that, it was like a huge cool breeze but no nitro cloud...i loved it cuz i didnt go blind LOL!!). he had maybe 1-2 breakdowns during this time which were short lived and only gave us enough time to catch a few breaths, look at each other in disbelief, and before u knew it he was on it again reaping us with his dark prog and techno.
he started to wind it down again with a few melodic tracks to close off from 4:15-4:30am and thanked us for a great night!! nothing but class from a professional :)
M&S's intro was really creepy and first 2 tracks were banging but i was done at that point and opted out...
amazing night, one to remember for a while. let's hope this one makes it on transitions :)

From what I saw he was using the CDJ's (Pioneer 2000's) and Xone 92.

Thx guys. Was stoked to see that Diggers posted 1 of my vids I took of him that night on his FB page. Shortly after, some guy who works for an NBC affiliate contacted me via Twitter & asked for permission to use footage to use on the NBC Nightlife section of their website. :)
