I had a great time - wonderful view of NYC, lots of friendly people, ran into YankeBaby and MellyMel - awesome meeting you two both... you seemed like you were enjoying your evening!
I had such a blast as the sun was going down and this track played - I just basked in the sunrays, enjoying Manhattan skyline and had my hands in the air in extasy. :crazy: :crazy: :crazy:

As a huge PVD fan i can say overall what a great party! PVD's set was exactly what i expected. Starting really slowly and 1'5-2 h start drooping bombs. I dont know why so many people complaining about the music... gotta understand this is outside party not a club... and u can not play all the time 140bmp for 6h...crazy!!! So... really liked the set just love outside parties. Hope to see PVD one more time this year in city!

it was my first time at governor's island i gotta say ferry and entry was pretty smooth, even if i got there at 930....
the set up was pretty cool and it wasnt that packed which was nice for a change. I thought PvD was pretty good overall but nothing mindblowing, his set was good but a little up and down, the flow just wasnt really there.
and def. am NOT impressed with the tracks from his new album
good seeing a bunch of you like liss, drew, kelly and co.!

my review :
PVD sucked!... bad experience all over. Rorry and gerald saved the night. read below
i got there at 320. i was the first in line with the twin brothers and renee. after waiting in line untill 5 then we jumped in the ferry. first ferry ever. that was a first smooth ride. we noticed a black suv parked with police officers bikes accompaning it in the front. yup. PVD was in the car. once we landed the car boarded off first. then they let us out. as we were walking to the line the ar was park right next to it and Paul van dyk was there picking stuff from the truck. that was exciting. i started shouting thing like , play something from global. then he started walking torwards me. i reached out and grabed his shoulder and said "hi" he looked at me smiled and said "hey" i guess he realised i was the one asking stuff. that was cool. i wanted to be cool about it and i didnt ask him to stop and take a photo. end thats when the fun ended for the concert. lol he sucked.
only once he teased the out of me. as i was complaining that this music sucked to people that were wondering why i wasnt dancing he dropped Nothing But You. wow i was up and jumping like a sardine. So happy and so determined that this was it. Only bombs from now on.....yeah....:rolleyes:
the only thing cool about the event was being able to meet and hang with you people. especially andrew.
then i left the tent and started wondering around. after finally was able to leave the ing island. i went straight to pacha
There Rorry and Gerrald saved the night. mothering bombs after bombs of pure trance. YEAH. i wanted to screaming PVD!! lol not a dull moment.
of course paul van dyk didn't show up. but the guys upstars bought it. brad was keeping a vibe nice and entertaining. then the B2B started and peaked up the music for the rest of the night. people still were throwing hands in the air and still a decent crowd come 450am.
