This is exactly what I would do (esp if you really need to get your drum fix).
Cielo is best on Thursday nights and blkmarket parties are not to be missed if you want to experience a good NYC party ;) They usually go pretty late, too. |

What do you mean by after after hours? A venue staying open late or a cozy place to chill like love?
To me, blkmrkt is after after hours since those parties usually go on for a until almost afternoon lol. Just mingle with some people at the parties and see where that leads you. That usually works |

I think you're mistaken about Love, it was hardly a good afterhours spot. It got good every once in a while but it wasn't consistent and it tended to get super shady.
Also, this might be worth checking out on Sunday

I must've heard wrong then. My friends said they went to a banging party there one time so I assumed it was nyc's version of comfort zone lol
I've never seen Morales or Vasquez before. What style do they play? |

House/tribal. Junior Vasquez plays strictly gay parties though, just thought I'd warn you. I'm going to check it out this coming Sunday for Louie Vega/Junior, haven't seen Junior in a while and always have a blast at his parties, same with LV. Will let you know how it goes :) Haven't been to Shelter in a few years. Do expect a different crowd though, it's mostly Garage heads. |

It def was NYC's version of CoZo in terms of vibe, just wasnt open as "late/early" as Cozo. Most of the parties I went to were done by 6, but I know there were plenty that stayed open much later, and some earlier. It wasnt very consistent.

Shelter the club hasn't been open in years, it's now Greenhouse. They do the Shelter parties there. |
