Best year for Electronic music?

For me, I say 1999. The future classics released in the house music genre...legendary...!
I'll post my elaborate thoughts in a bit, I want to get this thread going. |

I was going to say 95 or 96 but I could go with either of those or 99...all good years.
I was listening to a Dance Mix 96 the other day and was thinking almost any of those tracks could be thrown into a dance mix now and no one would be any the wiser. |

i dont see why all those genres cant be put together to form the ultimate commercial success. guvernment nightclub is already booking the act. |

late 99-2000 was pretty good for me. it opened my ears to such good house music and beats.
the introduction to napster really help me get into it. along with ftp sites and so forth. |
