"Genius mix compilations are remarked by the fact that artists and titles no longer matter upon listening. The 'junk' compilations are able to ban anything else out of your mind, letting you concentrate on the flow and artistry of each transition instead of track lists. The Junksciencc Junk series is without doubt the best mix compilation since Sasha's Involver series and The Renaissance Master's Series by Dave Seaman -bold statement in fact, but praise where praise is due. When next-level mixing, engineering, craftsmanship, a close-to-perfect track selection that breeds coherency and the unmistakable talent for aesthetically positioning and programming records come together in the way it's done here, we cannot say anything else than best compilation of the year."

I thought Techno was abundant in quality DJs? They even have the best female DJs on the planet too.

Truly, the best dj ever. They should stream this at every club around the world. On repeat. Forever.

Can't begin to list the reasons why that press statement is ing stupid.
Adam420
This is wrong on so many levels I don't even know where to begin
junknown
no, i think u should list the reasons why.
but while ur doin that, i would play the set or any one of his sets (since its obvious u havent). if by the very first mix of whatever set ur listening to isnt clean and clever then rate him low. but be fair.

i have seen this individual listen to other artists sets that he couldnt stand as a person, but he would not deny how talented they were or how impressive the set was or parts of the set were.
if it was all about talent and the good for this music than there would be alot less unfair negativity.

take the press statement how u want for its someone's opinion. but once u listen u will understand why someone might believe that (if ur honest with urself)...even the great Dave Seaman is becoming a fan of the artist of junksciencc.

anyone can beatmatch these days especially with recent dj technology but what junksciencc is doin is seriously a piece of art that u can hang above ur stereo.

(below a quote from junksciencc from culture shock mag)

"It’s all about the music and what you do with it. I spend a very long time searching for the best new tracks I can find. I went through thousands for junk004. I then spend a lot MORE time on programming, which I think is becoming more important than ever now, particularly as technology advancement means virtually anyone can easily mix a set together but trying to blend the music together into one seamless coherent piece is itself a skilled art and a very big part of being a good DJ. It’s all about the flow!"

Give me a ing break. There are tons of DJs out there who can do just as good a job if not better (why don't you listen to MY mixes). I'm not saying this guy's mix is bad, at all, but the music is pretty boring and it's fairly ordinary as a whole. You are deluded, describing this mix like it's the best thing since sliced bread. gtfo. And the funny thing is that Digweed is now a techno DJ more than anything and I'm sure he's played at least some of the tracks in this mix.
junknown
doesnt get any better or cleaner than that. as for "ordinary" comment. do u even get what real techno is?

and youre right digweed is labeled now as a "techno" dj and producer but we all should already kno that bedrock is its own genre in itself these days. it may have a techno influence but its not tru techno. (ex. alan fitzpatrick productions with bedrock)

would u compare an adam beyer or a dustin zahn sound with digweed?

btw, were listening to ur mix now...
if its good or any part of it is good and clean and intelligent than ull hear about it.
