FYI:
Hip-Hop is the real stuff, look at the sales, hip-hop is over 50% of the music market, how can you be so blind and say that’s not the "real stuff", you got to be joking me. Trance sales will NEVER, NEVER and NEVER compare to hip-hop sales. Nor will Trance + House + Dance music sales compare to Hip-Hop sales.
I’m not going to sit here and defend one style of music over another, because there would be no end to it, but please, please, please don’t be so closed minded. There is no way that you will convert a “Hip-Hop” crowd to a “Trance” crowd.
See there is no way all the people can be satisfied. |

hehehehe, sorry to rain on your parade buddy but when i said "real stuff" i meant real trance as opposed to the dance they usually play on z103. reread the post |

What, Dance, what, euro... Trance is Trance... Dance is Dance and Euro is Euro.... what's fake Trance????
This is how I see it, people in the trance community see trance not music, because music is more than “Just Trance”
Seems like a lot of people on this board categorize everything that’s not trance “ and Cheese” I don’t get it. |

most ppl will agree the stuff they play on z103 is not real trance, its dance music with trance synth lines, they just adopted those from trance music. if you cant tell the difference, well then... |

no, i don't even know you.. just like to have an intelligent conversation….. and i know it's not trance.
So trance was developed or created from the clouds or just thin air.
Lest step back, waaaaayyyy back... to blues and blue grass... that’s where things started, and developed to other formats of music.
Every style has its unique component but it’s mostly a collaboration of sound and formats from existing styles.

| well...IMO i think not too much trance should make it's way to radio's such as z103.5...because that is just a start...and trance will become hip hop part 2... if you know what i mean. |

hmm.... what is or cheese...eg. alice deejay.. is still trance but cheesy trance...you know more into the pop scene ;) |

Correction. Hip Hop Consists of recycled beats from the 60s-early 90s Therefore making it not real at all but rather recycled retro beats that someone is trying to make money off of. I do agree that Electronic Musik will never never make the sales Hop hop does. But then again those who don't like Hip hop and realize it is recycled vinyl will be Intelligent enough not to listen to it or buy it. If I wanna listen to stuff from that era it was recycled from I will go search through my record pile in my living room, pull it out and listen to it. I will not listen to the "real stuff" and listen to some idiot talking about how he is gonna kill someone, or how much booty he gets, or what cars her drives and how much weed he/she smokes. to me hip hop is a music genre that promotes violence and crime. Does electronic musik do that? Not that i recall (except for prodigy).
But now I am way off topic. As for them playing PVD, tehy can play whatever they want. As of now I am turing the Radio permamntly off unless the retro mix in on 99.9 (Don;t laugh! lol)

well it's not entirely recycled music...infact a lot of the newer hip hop songs use new beats made from scratch :D. oh and also some house songs "recycle". oh well...
but also hip hop was alright actually.. i used to be a big fan... until one day some idiots decided to base their lyrics on a ing shopping catalogue just to apeal more to the suburban kids *shrug* |
