well for starters, hip hop isnt noise :P
but your forgeting that most commercial hiphop/rap has some featured singer to come and do the chorus which is usually the only part of the song the ppl like.... look at ja rule... most of his songs have some girl doing some catchy vocals for the chorus
the main reason in my mind that electronica is not popular here in NA is because of 2 reasons, its hard to be a fan of music without being able to see them "perform" which is the case for most young ppl and even some older people, not to mention everyone is so fixed on the chorus-verse-chorus style which can be found int rock/rap etc... not to mention rap and rock and pop are all quick to the punch! there is no 4 minute intro and that is why i think most ppl cant stand electronica not to mention the radio.. their airtime is valuable they cant afford to waste 4 minutes on a boring intro when the could be playing some catchy chorus
just my 2 cents... sorry for the bad grammer/english i really slack off on forums :P |

My grammer and english is bad too lol. First of all most of hip hop IS noise. why? Listen to Ja Rules voice. Sound so rusty and he tries to sing, not rap that is even more annoying!!!!!!! |

| well i can see what your saying about his voice but once again, that in my opinion is more of a preference of not liking how his voice sounds..... its not neccesarily bad... you just dont happen to like it |

True I don;t like it. but think about it. there used to be a day when the only person allowed to take a mic was teh one who had a nice voice if they are singing (not rapping). butthis arguement is going nowhere I'd have t atalk with you in person about it |

Well for the time being the only radio station I can listen to and tolerate at moments is z103.5
Lets face it its the closest you can get to what we listen to on the conventional radio...
Untill they make shoutcast radios for your car

As I said in the z1035 thread, The radio stations will NEVER CHANGE. They will always and forever play nothing but crap that gets shoved into our ears and is told to us that it is "good"
They tell us that songs are good. We are not allowed to judge them. Like how do we knwo that ppl voted for all the songs on all the top 10, 20, 50 lists? It ian;t a fact to me unless I seen it. But I can go on in this subject forever :D. |

I just had an idea...
Why don't we have a trancEaddict fund raiser, make money in whatever way... beg, work at McDonald's, squeeegeee. With the money we could buy a large GTA radio antenna, hook it up to my laptop, or someone else's fast computer. Download Gigs of Trance and broadcast it 24/7 on a private radio frequency just for us TTAs. Lets say... 106.9 Khz... or whatever frequency.
What do you think?
