:stongue:

Only for the first two weeks though! When they're no longer exclusive I go down to $1.99 per track.

And Woody, yeah I hear you...I still think it's insane. Especially considering how little work tour managers and agents do :p

No I have a rate I charge promoters, I don't care how many/little tickets they sell.

I think paying 20k-25k for ANY DJ(especially those herbs) is ing insane though.

thats chump change for a ton of dj's. the way i see it, if they have the demand to bring in thousands of people into a venue at $50+ per ticket they should be entitled to a good cut of the money being made. If they can't draw a lick, then a flat rate regardless of 200, or 2000 attendees makes sense as it would suck for a promoter to expect 2000, and pay the performers based on that number and then only 200 show.

Add another $120,000 to that and you can book KISS with full production.

Since when did KISS start DJ'ing?

:D Everytime I hear the price for a big name DJ, I like to compare it to what KISS charges.

KISS would probably make more money if they DJ'd.

Or both. Gene's solo, spinning God Of Thunder with custom flame shooting 1200's.

That's just the booking price. Ticket sales and merchandise not included.:D

Guys I specifically said that Avicii for 20k and Afrojack for 25k are just things that I have heard from sources that might be unreliable. I am new to this (that's why I posted the thread in the first place). If you have some insight on the pricing of various DJ's plz do share!! :)

@72hrpartyanimal: I forgot if I covered this, but "BeyondTonight" is a service we run from The Valley (SFV) to the clubs I have previously mentioned. It's nothing crazy but after doing this for a while we want to venture into booking shows ourselves.

Well I received an e-mail back from Laidback Luke's agent! As someone mentioned before (Bas I think), the agents get flooded with e-mails and take a while to respond.

@Woody: I guess I wasn't far off haha.

@72hrpartyanimal: Thanks a lot, will do!
