Obama thinks that technology removing certain jobs from the market, replacing them with new ones, is a bad thing for an economy. Or did you gather something else from his comment?

I agree with the fact that newer technologies have been a small contributor to the unemployment rate. If this wasn't true then why has the Postal Service cut so many of its workers the past 4-5 years? I don't think it's too far of a stretch to say that anything that's been killing jobs has also been hurting the economy. I'm also not insinuating that we have to kill these technologies in order to boost employment, more so we just need to find ways to get around it. But what Obama has said in that video I don't see as necessarily being false or misguided.
