Jonathan Peters Weekly Residency At D36!!!!

After years of being contracted to pacha as a monthly resident and that coming to an end, it looks as though JP has finally found a new club, where a new era begins, that he is comfortable with to contract and begin a new weekly residency!!!
Residency begins Friday 9/30 and continues every friday after.

I personally could not be any happier about this!!! I just hate i live 5.5 hours away from nyc. but to have JP begin a new foundation of a residency inside a new club is truly a historic mark in my opinion. Cannot wait to get down to D36 and experience this and see how it plays out. I think D36 is going to be packed every friday night because of this! Last time I went for Mauro I was annoyed at the loud scumbags in the club. A group of trashy men and women hollering and screaming so loud over the music, bouncers thought they were fighting- they were just talking.
I left before Mauro even came on. |

lol gimmiebeatz i think this is the wrong message board to post it on ha ha
altho i wont be as harsh as everyone else, iam pretty shocked they are doing this. 10-15 years ago it was all over...now the scene is flooded with people wanting more than just one dj and style week after week, altho he does have a big fan base so i feel it maybe could work for a while
i guess i hope it does happen for you and everyone who wants to see this happen, but dont be suprised if it fails |

i already knew id get scorned on this message board for posting it and it doesnt matter to me lol i hope it works out for him and i honestly think its going to be a success. a residency is hard to pull nowadays i totally agree, but his fan base in my opinion will keep this going. i think theres a ton of people who are going to be elated about JP having a weekly residency, and then there are those who wont be.
i mean who the hell knows, maybe he'll even take it back sometimes to those SF days n whip out some of that crazy tech trance he'd drop. you never know. guess we'll have to wait and see. im just hoping this at least means he'll be booked to play there around NYE. its been too long since hes been booked for a NYE marathon somewhere in manhattan. |

bring me a Sasha and Digweed Residency, a PVD Bi-Monthly residency, and off nights of Carl Cox, Seb Fontaine, Junior Vasquez, DT, Satoshie Tomiie, Sander K, and then we can say the nightlife is revitalized in NY.
I also LULZ at all you who are TRASHING D36...what happen to the nutsuckers, the 'wait til the kinks work out', all of yall leaking the sneak peaks saying mad about how it's going to change the NY nightlife. All you az who defended this so righteously all have your ing mouths closed now...
And I'm not tossing this out to the venture capitalist who put their money on the line, I know who you are and I know what you're trying to do..it's admirable and respectable.

To be honest - I've only gone there about 3 times? Once for Derrik May or Carter - can't even remember which one.. Hernan Cattaneo and Mauro.
Hernan was the best fuking night and he truly deserves a monthly or quarterly residency. :eyes: |
