| Haha. You should probably know Thomas probably has the most interesting portfolio of all mastering engineers that have been promoting their services here :). |

Where is it? I don't see any information on his mastering portfolio, gear, approach, prices, etc. I really hate this "black box" approach that so many mastering houses use these days - you never know if they're just going to slap Ozone on it and charge you $100, or run it through some serious hardware in a treated room, etc. |

| That music that autoloads on my website, is not related to the mastering/engineering services I offer. If it's too loud for you, then I suggest you turn down your speakers! |

I don't need to turn them down because I'm not going back there you arrogant dick.
There's no need for it anyway. |

As mentioned in my original post...if you require additional information then to email me. The address is provided. Here is a brief discription below...
There's two options for mastering...
Option 1: You just export the song from your DAW/Sequencer and send me the file and I master it. I apply E.Q., Compression, more E.Q., and final Limiting. This helps the song improve dynamics and volume and costs $25 per song.
Option 2: You export each audio track/stem from the DAW/Sequencer. Allowing more control of each audio track. I then add dynamics, e.q., stereo enhancing, etc. to each track. Then export, then mastering (same as option 1). This costs between $50-100 depending on how many audio tracks are in the song but does give overall better results.
I'll provide a master wav. or aiff file. You then tell me if any changes are needed. We can go back and correct as much as you like. Once your happy, then payment is made via paypal. And I can usually have the mastered file back to you the same day you send the raw file to me. That's it.
Any other questions, please email: [email protected] |

| Cool - thanks for the info, Thomas! I assume that Option 2 is the track/stem mastering approach that I've been hearing about more and more recently? |

Yes Option 2 is the engineering of the audio stems. Of course this will allow me to make more adjustments and improving the project more overall. I'll add dynamics to each track as needed. And then the final mastering process. And of course, I can make as many changes to the project until the client is happy.
Now some notes...when you export the files, please make sure the Master Channel is NOT clipping and does NOT have any dynamic effects on the Master Channel (ex: compressor, limiter, e.q.). (Of course you keep all the effects on the individual tracks). You can export at 44.1 or 48k, 16 or 24bit files.
Please email if I can help in any way. Thanks. |
