If he does then he certainly fooled me over the years. Hes always came across with so much passion for uplfiting, euphoric, instrumental trance ie his core sound which really has never changed despite all the vocals and trouse and trance 2.0, the tech trance and even house.
For me all of that he has included in his sets and radio show to remain popular and for that some people think he has sold out, the same way Tiesto did. Difference is he screams from the roof tops about what he loves, and what he likes.
I just wish he would sacrifice the popularity a little bit to give us the old fans what we really want. Universal Religion Chapter 5 is a little bit of "give back" in my opinion. |
