So hmmm what did you guys think? I don't know why, but i'm just kinda disappointed a bit :P but it was still a great night!!! Big up to Nadir and Maher for playing amazing sets also!

I thought it was Villalobos at his best. He played surprisingly dark. Nice seeing you again Ammar.

Yeah bro it was great to see you to! Loved the costume hahaha!

Precious was funky and also dark, I need to rest for round two tonight. Did you see the goblin with the white gloves? That was me :)

Ricardo Played a pretty decent set
The only issue I have is that the set was too consistent. He kept the energy level the same all night , no intense moments for a couple tracks. Overal steady set

Maher did a great job opening. Thoroughly enjoyed!

Love the decor part with all the candles suspended.
Now on the way back home for Luciano and Villalobos in Toronto !!

love the new room under the dj booth, very cool

maher + ostrich did a nice job opening

great turnout (altho not sold out imo) good guy to girl ratio

Villalobos was disappointing... set was boring and lacked a specific direction... ups and downs and ups and down... n some sloppy mixes too... maybe he was on some sort of substance ?? hahaha :P

lights were kinda out of control yesterday... i noticed this at carl cox as well, question: is it the same guy?

but overall i had a lot of fun and so did my friends. but something tells me they wont book him again for this sort of venue

WHERE WAS LUONGO STUNT DOUBLE + wife?

he bailed on us haha

I was amazed with Ricardo last night.

The first 45 minutes of his set were absolutely incredible. After that, he did have some lulls, but he played everything I was expecting him to play and more. Segments of crazy percussion, really weird minimal segments, funky segments, a little bit of house.. There were about 4 or 5 moments in his set where he would have these craaaaazy builds and drops and had the crowd eating out of the palm of his hands.

Yes, as I said before, he did drone on at times, but that is the way Ricardo plays.

That is the best set I've ever heard him play.

Looking forward to round 2 with Victor tonight!

What's the consensus on those new jet things?

I'm not a big fan. They are extremely loud, distracting, and they were over used. I prefer if they were not in there at all, but if they were used once or twice in a night I wouldn't mind.

+1 on he jets. Too loud for the output they give

They put in cooling jets? So cheesy. They're good for cooling things down quick when it gets too hot, but way too loud.

So what's up with the other room? Is there music in there, or just a chill space?

Just a chilling space. I wish they could of replaced it with a massage spot :)
