looks like it's open worldwide. |
That's bull IMO but I'll still submit one I guess |

| The prize includes airline tix to Montreal. Did you expect they'd be limiting contestants to Quebec residents? |

Obviously that shouldn't be part of the prize either. I mean ffs, so much for giving locals a chance. Whatever, I'll just do my thing and whatever happens, happens. |

I completely agree that this competition should be exclusive to locals or Quebec/Ontario. I think there's more then enough good local talent that can submit some proper sets... |

i found it kind of odd at first that they're leaving this open to anyone in the world, but obviously they're looking to get this event internationally recognized, so what better way to create a bit of a stir. also, it seems like this will be partly based on how many "likes" you can get on your mix, so the word about this event will definitely be spread a bit. |

| Same argument I have about buying stuff "made in the USA". Let quality be the determining factor, not the location of origin. |

i say we start a facebook campaign to get the ogilvy spoon guy the opening slot.:p
relax guys, it is a smart move for free publicity. I happen to think they give tons of locals a pretty good shot....too many even:p |

| I agree. At the same time, I hope that a Mtl DJ, maybe even a MTLTA, can provide a quality mix that lands them this gig. |

Yes, but Stereo should make the clientele discover new type of sounds! these guys play in berghain mostly in front of a gay crowd...
It would be something so different :eyes: |
