Volume was really low on Thursday. I think they only had the back set of speakers on. Yesterday sounded fine. Hasn't been nearly as pushy this year. I think they've made the site larger. At the very least thus far I've had all the room I need to move comfortably and not get pushed around.
I don't like the visuals as much this year. The screen they have behind the DJ booth is broken up rows of lights, instead of being one solid screen, and I like it less. It breaks up what the VJ is doing. Otherwise, it's all the standard.
I think they did a much better job with the village this year; the interactive stuff is a lot of fun. I'm not sure if you'd noticed, but the drums they have actually control the glowing cubes that the structures around there are built out of. They change colours to the beat of the drums. |

I think the visuals were really great, especially if you are at more than 20-30 meters from the stage.
It was a really great night yesterday, thanks to everybody who came! The afterparty at Cherry was crazy too ;) |

| Does anyone know if there's a separate line for people with tix? I got mine for this Saturday already, and really want to avoid the massive queue I got stuck in last time I went. |

| I'm down for a meetup. What's the best location / time for everyone? I'm thinking like 9:30. Do they have the same Twitter board as last year with the speakers in the back on the right as you're looking at the stage? That seemed like a good spot last time, but I dunno what the setup's like this year. |

For those of you heading out to Igloofest on Friday (Jan 20th):
We have Rodriguez Jr. (Mobilee/France) playing a 1.5 hour Live PA at Underworld. Underworld is not too far away from Igloofest (short cab ride away).
There will be DJ support from Hakim Guelmi, Sarath Pereira and myself. We promise some suprises and were adding extra sound to make it even better. And theres good drinks specials to (4-5$ beers, 6$ vodka/redbull, etc)
