Btw, that early bird price had a deadline which was today @ 3pm..in other words, it's over! However, don't expect that much of an increase, $5-10...but I wouldn't be surprised if more bc it began with a shocker but still..even at $70 its still a freebie for this event.

I purchased my vip ticket this afternoon. I can't wait for memorial day weekend of 2012 and i'm sure it will be the most memorable
I looked into some non-stop flights leaving may 26 saturday afternoon and returning may 29 evening. It's around $230 from Laguardia and $340 from Newark.
Is anybody interested in getting a room at Courtyard Marriot when avalaible? I wouldn't mind sharing a suite with someone or I will probably get a regular single room. I know that it's not possible to book these yet and I hope it will be avalaible during January

It's always cheaper flying out of LaGuardia ;) I'd recommend you getting a flight on saturday between 9 am and 2 pm, they always end up having someone awesome early on saturday at the festival (and I always miss it :() and you have time to check in calmly (or you can always leave your bags with the hotel's luggage storage). Try to make your return flight in the early evening, so you don't have to hang around the airport for hours after check out (but do consider giving yourself a couple of hours after check out so you can get some Slow's BBQ, probably some of the best BBQ in the country).
Also, if you don't get to find a room at the Courtyard, keep in mind that the Renaissance Marriott is right across the street, and there are the Book Cadillac and the Atheneum close by, which I think are probably the best hotels in Detroit and are only a few blocks away.

cant commit 100% to going at this moment but if i were you i would def try to get a flight for like 11am outta LGA
blk market and other clubs usually get techno guys on the friday before
2 years ago was marco (which was in crackkkkk)
this year was sven

This is very true. They usually set up a big coatcheck too so ppl can bring their luggage and leave from there, lol.

Electric Zoo tickets on Monday and still have to book travel and hotel for WMC plus Christmas shopping! Good month for Visa.

from experience i feel renting a condo is better than a hotel room
not sure how many people you going with but i would def look into it before booking, its def cheaper,more space,less hectic,more privacy
put it like this when you come back from a party at 11am and want to sleep you dont wanna worry about the maid knocking at your door or have a pool party right outside your window blasting music
with the condo you can sleep for 2 or 3 hours, wake up, go to the fridge take out a tv dinner and pop it in the microwave, also take out the goose and pound a few shots then go hit up a pool party
