that line-up is sick but the scheduling is ing retarded...the price would of been reasonable if it began sometime after 11ish but who starts it 4 hrs prior to the last day of the festival ending?

That Liaison showcase is retarded. Half of the names on that lineup are playing the festival as well and the most ridiculous part is that they're charging as much as the festival will at the gate for one day. What is the point of going to something like this? I don't get it.
Booking agencies do whatever the they want, I'm not surprised with the bitch move of having it during the festival's last hours. Last year there was a pool party going on @ the MGM pool during the same hours (did anyone go to that?). I don't know, what I'm seeing in Detroit is that it's becoming less about celebrating Detroit's music and its artists and more about the money. |
