i usually go in situations like that. double-check for cops and then go. i hate when that happens though.

They have hidden cameras on a lot of the lights around here. You'll run a stop light and see a big flash behind you, then get a ticket in the mail a few weeks later.

In Long Island they tell you on a sign that says "PHOTO ENFORCED"
No one even pays them anyways so waste of $$.

It also had $10 million in unpaid red light camera violations at the end of 2011

My favorite is when Ambulances/Fire trucks have to get to a call and the people in front of them won't budge because they don't want the redlight flash ticket.

No matter what they are only going to add more to slow everyone down like lights, stop signs, no turn on reds, red left signals, no turn left signs,no turn signs until light chanes, speed limit at 50mph on a normal two lane highway, WTF.

I will drive thru someone if it was physically possible! LOL

I just do my thing, watch out for cops when needed and respect other drivers by not using my hi-beams!! I hate that behind me leading me to drive fast so there not on me anymore.

I was being sarcastic. I am not that cruel but took that from a newspaper article about the red light cameras and their affect it has for making $$ for the town but as said above. Some will move and some will not.

never had that happen, but totally understandable. so let me correct myself, stop signs i'll run slightly frequently, stoplights are dependent on the situation and my mood.

Wouldn't they get a ticket then for not yielding to an emergency vehicle?

If a cop was around sure. But the cameras won't flash just for that.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think over here if you don't yield to an emergency vehicle the driver/passenger of said vehicle can just take down your licence plate and report you, and you'll be sent a ticket in the mail. Bus drivers can actually do the same if they catch you parked in a bus zone.

Probably makes it easier to fight the ticket though, I dunno.

Was this 3 hours after your 3rd tequila shot? Cuz you're like...totally endangering peoples lives, man.

I had one drink the day before, so I admit I was taking a risk.
