Also that corpse child was technically aborted (as you can read above in jbj's link), despite Santorum saying that shouldn't be allowed (aborting a pregnancy when the life of the mother is at stake).

so this santorum, it is real?

quote:
Santorum: "When the average citizen hears the phrase 'presidential election,' he thinks of long lines at polling places and agonizing waits as election results are tallied," U.S. Sen. Rick Santorum (R-PA) told reporters Monday. "Putting the election of our public officials into the hands of private industry would motivate election officials to be more efficient." "There's too much talk about the accuracy and fairness of our national elections, and not enough about their proficiency and profitability," Santorum added. "Who bears the brunt of bureaucratic waste? Taxpayers."

There are so many gems from Santorum's long history of running his retarded mouth.

Not voting this time around. It's a waste of time. Politicians are all just actors. Ultimately they're all more or less on the same side, and it isn't our side.
If it were based on public opinion, I don't think most people would expect Obama to make it to a 2nd term. My guess though, is that the multi-billion dollar corporations he helped bail out, will contribute whatever they must to ensure that he's re-elected. All it takes is a little extra pull with the media, and you've got yourself a new president.
I don't own a television, and probably won't follow the election much online. It's all a sham. It's a shame; I used to pride myself on keeping up with these kinds of things.
:stongue: :stongue: :stongue: that's the right there (no pun intended)

One thing I find interesting... American elections they take 1-2 years travelling the country and having different debates in small ass states. Yet in Canada they can call election in 1-2 month period (when it is a minority government) and things can get settled or go back to what is was before the election. Not sure which one works better. Call an election in a short amount of time or give people years to figure our who could possibly be the best candidate.

The 1-2 year period is spent convincing the common folk they matter and their vote is actually worth something.
