Sasha was amaaing at Red Lite, was so so few months later, IMO.
So it may be worth to go see him with hopes he nails it at Stereo as the chances are he could.. but lots of good bookings coming up at Stereo so I may try some other djs that I haven't heard live instead for variety. |

To be quite frank, I loved Sasha's set last time he was at Stereo.. it might actually be the best extended set I've experienced in 2011 along with Loco Dice. Hard to choose between the two..
He started off a bit rocky, took about an hour to get in the groove but I thought his set was an intricate story with turns and twists, the vibe of that party was just incredible. I've never seen a mature crowd so into it. When he finished at 9am there must have been 300-400 people still in the club and I'm sure he could have easily gone on until noon.. I was ready to stay till the end.
Maher posted it in the review thread but when he dropped the Disco Gnomes Tale of Us Remix, he took it to a whole other level. Everyone had their hands in the air, honestly I think that's the best moment I've ever had in an afterhours, that track, the transition into it, the crowd eating it up, it's etched into my long term memory.. I'll remember that monent and that feeling forever.
Will definitely see Sasha again, especially after he praised the club and the crowd on twitter. He won't dissapoint.. |

| Since March 16 is around when WMC is, im sure his performance will be better since he most probably be well prepared. The last set that i heard and that i really liked was the "never say never" At Set in Miami. Hopefully he will deliver... Have faith in Sasha!! |

| I'm loving the style that he's been playing lately, and if he compared Stereo to Fabric, and Womb, I'm sure he won't play a bad set. |

I don't go out often anymore so I need to chose between Nick Warren and Sasha. I also have a group of TO friends debating which one to come see. I thought Sasha would be the proper party, I like Warren and all but to me his prime years are behind us whereas Sasha, in my opinion, still has some fuel to make the magic happen. But hey what do I know!!!
I don't want to go to Warren just because of all the hype since he hasn't played here in ages and be disappointed. My outings are too rare to take risks. Corjay9 I like your argument here on Sasha..! |
