How can you even compare W&W with Nick Warren?
They play at Circus twice a year, last time Nick played here was 5 years ago. |
I'm not going to allow you to bait me into comparing W&W versus Nick Warren. If I'm not mistaken this thread is about Sasha and was thinking of combining both nights together. |

My two cents: as someone else mentioned earlier in this thread, Sasha has been, the last couple of years, trying to follow the trends, instead of focusing on quality music.
I was there at Stereo in June last year, and his set was all over the place. Yes, it was indeed a journey, but it was a journey that was not well executed. The flow of his set was very uneven and he completely lost my interest quite a few times. For instance, he played a bit proggy at the beginning, then played Carl Craig's remix of Positive Noise. But instead of building on this remix (and switching the mood adquately), he mixed in several boring lifeless tracks that had no energy and that prevented the set from going to 'another level'.
In fact, until 9 am, his set was not very dynamic and, IMHO, he should have played the tracks he played then earlier in the night. The crowd would have been more into it.
I've been a fan of Sasha for many years, and decided to give him one last chance with this set. He dissapointed me once again and so I've decided to not go out to see him again. |

I am looking forward to finally seeing Sasha @ STEREO.
Seen him many times over the years and the man usually delivers a great show, especially if he is playing by himself and doesn't have the good-old reliable John as backup.
Sasha + Stereo = WIN in my book.
P.S. Is there some kind of an 'official' source confirming this show? |
