I just did a compilation release "The Underground" as you can see in the promotion forum. Took me a month to get everything together
If you guys are up to it, I would like to do something similar here?
so 12 tracks or so, released as album, together with a 1 hour DJ Mix of them all.
The costs to get such a project on all major stores would be around 30,00 euro in total, for the project. which I'm happy to take. So there is NO COST for any of you. We could donate any revenue from this project to the FORUM or a good cause?
everybody would keep all rights on their production. And you don't need to sign any tracks over. you just donate the track for this release and are still free to do anything you like with it after that.

Yep, that could work.
for actual release i would need a 44.1/24bit mixdown, without any masteringtools on the main bus. and sufficient headroom for me to work on the track.
Anything can be considered, from minimal to Seandroids electro. |

5,00 euro for the release UPC EAN code
and 1 euro for each track and 1 euro for each IRSC code
so no cost for the people attending. |

I've got a couple of up tempo ones on the go that may be nearing completion. This one is a mixed bag of oldskool and progressive (whatever that means ;) )
I'm trying to put vocals on it at the moment, but if I can't then it could work as an instrumental. This is just the WIP :-

LOL, your tracks are more than welcome.
For me this is just trying to do my bit in order for this community to get something out of it with eachother.
There is nothing in it for me other than the fulfilment of having a project to manage and contribute something.
Besides tracks I would also need a good DJ to do the megamix
and coverart for the release, As I suck even more at DTP than producing. |

Well I can use Photoshop, although I'm miles from being competent at it.

But that's about as far as I can go with it. There are definitely a million people on here that can do better than that.
I think you've got distribution already don't you? If not I can get it on all the stores as well (gratis of course) as I still don't know what I'm going to do with my LW account. |
