First time doing this on my own. Trying to set up bottle service on memorial day wknd. My group:
~7 girls 7 guys (1:1 ratio)
Doesn't need to be a top club like XS because I know that's gonna be expensive as . I have a few questions:
1) Should I ask around now, or wait until that weekend? When will prices be lower?
2) Should I just have the girls get in via the door to keep costs down and then join us at the table?
3) any promoters on here or hookups that can help me out? it's for my birthday
Thanks guys! |

Try a bunch if different VIP hosts, you're going to get a bunch of different prices for the same bottle at the same club. Just go with the guy that gives you the best deal.
Depending on the club, the group of girls won't hurt and actually HELP you with the bottle service reservation. If it's a smaller club, or a bigger DJ where the head number counts, ya just book the table for the 7 guys.
You might have a pay a premium depending on the club because of the group size, 7 guys is a lot for 1 bottle, they will prolly want to lock you in for 2.
And the sooner you book the better because of availability. I would book the table as soon as you can, depends on the venue how early you can book. I have good friends at XS and Marquee PM for their info.
There's also a couple people on this board that also do this kind of stuff as well. You can use them as well. |

if it is MDW ..book ASAP ..even smaller clubs will be pretty pricey and even if you find a decent price table .. itll be super far away from the stage or dance floor
i went here for after-afterhours and it was fine but i dont know how it is for a regular club .. $150 for a bottle LOL ..

i don't believe hosts right now would lock anything down for MDW... pretty sure its too early.... i'd hit them up 2 weeks before or so...
What clubs were you thinking of? XS, Surrender, Tryst, Marquee, Pure, Tao will all be $$$. Best deal might be Surrender which has tables for 4 for $700+ on Wantickets sometimes.. |

Well, I don't mind if it's not an EDM club. I don't want it to be ghetto but as long as the party is fun and I'm with my friends, it's all good. I didn't really have anything specific in mind. Was hoping to spend like $150 a person, ideally. |

I think you need to figure out first where you want to go and your group of people would be happy with... once you know that then you can go from there.
were you thinking $150 each based on just for the guys paying or did that include the girls paying? |

Not to thread jack, but to avoid creating a new one...
How would the table service apply to a regular weekend during the summer, say end of June beginning of July, for a larger club and a big name DJ? Would it be the same prices about for DJ's playing at dayclubs/pool parties?
I'm planning to go with a group of 5 guys and I assume we will want to do table service at places like Marquee, XS, Rain, Encore or some other club.
I assume its a two bottle minimum for a group of 5 dudes, what would that typically run at the clubs mentioned about on a Thurs/Fri/Sat?
Also, if any, what are the savings/advantages of using a promoter as opposed to calling the club directly or waiting till the night of?
Thanks for the info |

a lot of the pricing will be determined if the dj is an 'A'-list dj like Tiesto or Kaskdae or someone you've heard of but not quite as big.
on a Fri/Sat i'd assume $1,500 for 2 bottles to be safe. Thurs is cheaper.
Pricing has a lot of variables.... if you don't need a full cabana, dayclub pricing seems cheaper usually.
Best to deal with a VIP host that works directly with the venue.... 3rd party guys can't do better than the guys that work for a club usually.
Problem waiting until the night of is that on a busy night the minimums go up and getting a good table location lowers in probability. |

| with vegas it's not really a matter the price of the bottles, but what the minimum is. |

did not include the girls paying, im assuming they will come in separately and join us once inside.
as far as where: like i said, mid tier club. not XS, marquee, pure, haze, surrender, or tryst. those either have big name DJs playing or are too expensive. |

Hmmm.... well for a 'tier 2' club you are still probably looking at $375 - 450 a bottle on average + 30% for tax and tip. And some people recommend tipping your host $100-200 for a group of that size for a better location. So count on $200 a guy to be safe and that's just for 2 bottles.
And remember, a group of 14 people will kill 2 bottles in about 1 hour so realistically your bill will be much higher than just $150-200 per guy |

Thanks for the info.
For the above, does the $1500 include tax and tip or bottles only? Would that come down to about $1000 if there is just an average DJ playing (i.e. resident Dj or mid-tier Dj?)
Also, last time my friends went to Vegas they got a day bed at the Rehab party at the Hardrock and it was a 2k minimum spend (it was flexible how it was spent, you could order food, individual drinks/shots, or get bottles which I thought was pretty cool). Is that a similar price/concept for day beds other dayclubs like Encore beach club and Marquee assuming I'd attend on a Sat or Sun?
For what its worth, we will be staying at the Cosmo but from what I;ve read there are no Marquee Dayclub/Nightclub specials or discounts on regular entry for hotel guests... |
