I never said where I was going to pour it out. I think my mouth is a perfectly good location :o

Actually Jobs' form of Pancreatic cancer had a markedly higher/longer life expectancy than most cases. Jobs had an Islet-cell Neuroendocrine tumor, which has a life expectancy of about a year even if it's found in its advanced stages. And can even be curable if found early enough. His was found very early.

So, you're dumb.

unless I'm missing something, being an activist doesn't mean you also have to forego modern medical treatment.

Unless I'm missing something, the word also in that sentence means he was utilizing traditional Tibetan medicine in addition to modern Western medicine, not simply opting for it over said modern Western medicine.

Learn to read, you absolute wit:

He was diagnosed in 2003 with the tumor, and as I said before numbnuts, against doctors advice, he did alternative medicine for the first 9 months. He went from low risk stage one cancer with a relatively treatable form if tumor, to stage four (the stage before death) then had to have several operations, including a liver transplant. Even though they removed said tumor at the time and thought it was over, he was plagued with health concerns from then on and it was the return of that very same tumor that was listed as the ultimate cause of death on his autopsy.

I mean, , I know the Irish get a bad wrap for being dumb, but you're not doing your kind any favors here, sparkie.

At least get your right before you start copy & pasting from the net.

Nice diversion. You said he lived 6 years past the average life span for being diagnosed for Pancreatic cancer. That might be true if the form of cancer he had didn't have a dramatically better prognosis than your run of the mill Pancreatic Cancer you dolt.

And it's "a bad rap" you ing moron. If you're going to try to insult someone, try to spell your words right.

Just so you can't back your way out of it:

Maybe, jobs lived 8 years with pancreatic cancer which is 6 years past the average

Look up the life expectancy of a patient with pancreatic neuroendocrine cancer that develops islet cell tumors. The average survival rate is over 3 years and some live 20+ years with it.

God you're stupid. Try doing the 2 minutes of research it would take to not look like a complete uninformed neanderthal before you start pulling figures out your ass.

Not everybody's goal when they have a terminal illness is to live as many extra years as they can. In fact most terminally ill/dying people don't want that, but rather to live what time they have left to the fullest. I'm not sure if you'r aware, but cancer treatment can be really aggressive, and it beats the out of people almost as badly as the cancer itself. Perhaps people that choose alternative medicine do so merely to enjoy a better quality of life, however limited it may be. ;)
Vector A
It's one thing (and understandable) to choose one year of somewhat peaceful decline + death over a few years of torturous treatment + probably death -- and another to choose "alternative" medicine + much earlier death over what may have been a full lifespan after a complete cure. Jobs did the latter.
