I can write a book about why that person wasn't banned earlier.. and I probably will...but suffice it to say, it is up to the community to 'ostracize' members who do not align with their principles... if someone is acting like a douche/dick then ignore them long enough and they will stop. Don't feed the trolls... those of you that reply are subconsciously enjoying the drama (yet claim to not be) - sometimes it is fun reading, sometimes it is annoying as .
Suspending an account adds fuel to the fire and they will continually re-register to prove a point and so continues the cycle of stupidity.

You can disagree all you want but the difference is "douche/dick" is dependent on opinion and if you are too strict you become a 'banhammer' and are hated for other reasons.

I find when i stop posting for a while this site falls apart. Earlier this week I posted in the cor and the thread went to 35 pages when the cor was supposedly dead.
lets just admit it I am the heart and soul of TA. and we should just rename it to vividaddicts. |

The number of you guys who perpetuate these troll threads and then complain asking why they arent banned, makes me think you;re new to the internet.
ps - Don't go on reddit, you'll probably have a heart attack.

| Definitely not the reason this place is dying but I think people get a bit to extreme when someone new to the scene comes on and proclaims their current love of cheese. I've seen tons of first time posters who have a great positive attitude, get trashed and never post again. Instead of trashing if people took it easy and let it go as not their cup of tea and gave that user some time to find better music (which is 100x more likely being a TA regular) I think you'd see the site start to grow slowly instead of shrink slowly... Just my 2 cents. |

there were a few really great threads....
BUT
I really do believe its all the bashing ppl doing to each other on here... When I started posting, i was a total noob, and if i mentioned the name Tiesto or Benny I would instantly get on by 80% of the posters... and it still happens...
this is the issue with TA... other then that Swamper runs a tight ship and i still do like TA and try to check it a couple of times a week... |
