Is this a case of obvious song stealing/sampling? (Skrillex the victim)

first off I wanna say that this thread is not to discuss of the quality of either of the 2 tracks mentioned, but to talk about how far a producer can sample a track with or without giving credit to someone else.

Anyhow. Back in December of 2011 skrillex put out this track called "Devil's Den"

And then just this week Kairo Kingdom released "Crazy Rock" on Big Fish Recordings, a pretty well known label in the electro scene.

Well , have a listen and you be the judge. Is this fair/legal??

Skrillex could probably care less, but if this could happen to him what about lesser known producers who get jacked blatantly?

Don't hear it.
Raphie
maybe both used the sample loop/sample packs?
Deillon
All these guys sound like Skrillex because he is their inspiration.
Raphie
the "copied" complextro e is Gartners effort though......

BTW this music is where is notice i'm the one getting old. I really can't gell anymore with this .... got stuck/left behind about 4 years ago. and most people are jumping on this bandwagon.

how can you not hear that 3 note arpegiatted motive as well as the phrasing not see that they are almost the same, too close to be just an accident.

and Raphie, as much as it is cool to hate this stuff, it wasn't being made 4 years ago. If you are going to be part of the hater club, at least be credible.

You are entitled to your opinion but Wolfgang Gartner and i suppose Skrillex are very good at what they do. i don't get how someone of such low skill ie Raphie can even say such nonsense regarding producers that are a million times more talented even if it just for the talent. Get your head out of the bubble.

And Peter Pan will be suing Skrillex for stealing the phrase "Bangarang!"
Looney4Clooney
pretty sure his name was rufio that screamed that. The guy that looked Mauri. COuld be completely wrong but the name Rufio came up. If i'm right, my memory is ing awesome.

I only just figured this out - you must be like Sheldon from the Big Bang Theory but more handsome.

They are indeed top notch in their genre, i'm nowhere close to where they are. let that be clear. If people would ask me to make something like this I would have to decline as i would lack the skills.

But beyond all of that, it got more aggressive since Knife party, but claude von stroke en Gartner have been doing this for several years. I mean take undertaker amongst some others, more than 3 years old, didn't like it then, don't like the more aggressive variations now either......
