speaking from my own personal experience.
what this guy is saying is truth, and im pretty sure most guys realize it at some point. all bashing aside let me just share some and you can either call me ed up or whatever. i dont really care.
porn is addicting, quitting it is on par with smoking. don't believe me? try doing it yourself. it's extremely difficult. im 23 now and been watching it for years and many times over that period i have tried quitting. its lasted for various lengths (weeks to months) but in the end you always go back to it. whats worse is sometimes you get the self-realization of "this is getting to be too much" - what hit home in this video is the fact that most porn to me now is boring and i'll be on kinkier like extreme bondage and stuff and extremetube.com is the only place I'll get off really.
since my memory is shotty the few times i can recall i definitely noticed a lot of changes being off porn (more awake and sharp, not as OCD'ish, and just an overall feel good to yourself) was improved. my sexual life was improved too (harder erections/etc).
right now im going to try and quit just because i feel like it's getting worse. my performance is low and is just not feeling right. im sure my girlfriend notices ill go talk with her but i wouldn't be surprised.
like with anything you need to strike to find the right balance. with porn it is SO easy to go to that extreme and lose control just because of the accessibility and how easy it is to find. not to mention by nature we are turned on by like that so its even easier to fall habit to a bad addiction. |
you should be on an episode of mtv true life, :haha: |

Why would anyone stop watching porn though, like altogether stop? It serves no purpose really to quit. |

What? It doesn't, its simply a masturbation aide. Watching porn or not watching porn doesn't really matter, this whole argument is really just a cover for anti-masturbation groups spewing retarded 19th century ideas about "self-abuse".
Saying "watching porn" is the equivalent to saying "masturbating" because in a huge majority of cases one goes hand in hand (lol) with the other.
Is watching porn the same as erotic literature then to this argument? What about a vivid imagination (and no, not vivid's imagination)?
Really this whole thing comes down to a "don't touch yourself platform." |

You will understand when you get older or perhaps by mistake have a child. You just mature beyond watching it.
If you still get your wank on, it's usually to the 'highlight reel' in your mind. |

| The hard truth is that masturbation is for wankers. |

No, your point is fine. I agree with you, and there isn't a single thing wrong with masturbation- it can be a very healthy activity.
The humour of your intimation, however, is the notion that there's never any reason to stop. A healthy and fulfilling sex life is incomparable. I highly recommend it! |

I understand that, but it doesn't mean you have to make some conscious effort to stop watching it. You can have a perfectly healthy sex life and still watch porn, in fact it'd probably help a number of relationships if more people did watch porn. |

You're an idiot. Plenty of older people watch porn. There is no need and most people do not "mature" out of it. Every healthy person likes to masturbate. |

Using the foul tone yet again Nou, aye . Priorities change Nou.
Work, Relationship, School, Partner, bills, maybe a child, friends, hobbies, outside in the sun (since you slung the first turd). It's kind of hard to find time to watch porn. I have even cut down on the violence I used to watch on the web because of other responsibilities.
That is all I am trying to say. Now I never said I didn't masterbate, I simply said I prefer the 'highlight reel'. Do you have one of those? |
