Who says the sexual assistance industry isn't harmful?!

To be honest and on topic, I found porn by accident when I was five (long story short: I had a ty baby sitter who wasn't around) and have watched it pretty much ever since.

Now that I'm not dating/sexually active with someone I give a about I watch porn, but even then very little excites me and I do it/schlick out of boredom and routine at this point.

It is times like these I wish I was a slut.

Oh, woe!

Even watching big tittied sluts getting railed by big thick dicks isn't doing it for me anymore! :(

I can relate to this, although I didn't quite understand porn the first time I saw it (I guess I mentioned it before, but I found oral sex extremely puzzling as that's not where the was supposed to go according to my elementary school teacher), and it took me a while to start watching it again.

It was pretty much the only way I could keep "sane" during my long distance relationship (along with having tons of friends to keep me company when I was lonely)... so, if you like it, I say knock yourself out! And, if you'd rather have actual sex instead, knock it out :)

I feel like I also didn't really understand it when I was younger, either. Perhaps around 11 or 12 did I really get what was going on in porn, but as a younger child I just found it odd and yet couldn't stop watching. I also have a distinct memory of being five, watching porn, and the guy says "suck my cock, bitch" to which I misheard as "suck my clock" and wondered why the hell he was talking about a clock and she was sucking on his 'tissemand' (cute Danish word for a boy's private part). You learn a surprising amount of English from porn.

Eh, the problem is I only have sex with someone I am/have been dating exclusively for a bit, and considering my emotions were put through the ringer with this last one I am not looking to open up any time soon, and casual sex makes me feel cheap.

How is that different from ing everyday, multiple times a day? Those male porn stars man, they can't come ever, or they come too quickly...

So you admit this argument is actually anti-masturbation, not anti-porn (well anti-masturbation by the way of anti-porn)?

Man, you have absolutely no clue. I'll put it down to sheer inexperience or naivety that you are this misinformed, but damn it, please stop spunking your entirely one sided (and handed) experience with the subject matter as some kind of sexual knowledge.

You want to know why most porn stars don't come? Firstly, Wrong assumption. Most just knock one (or several out) before hand (even as full makeup money shot prior to the scene) and the viagra keeps them going. Many others take a certain anti-depressant that makes ejaculation incredibly difficult, and then go with cialis or viagra on top of that.
The rest is training, much like personal training for your mind and organ, and frankly porn is the worst idea if you're a porn star or inexperienced - that's why so many porn addicts have a real crash and burn when they try to get in to the porn industry...it's nothing like you think, you've actually taught yourself and your body all the wrong things and going back to the main point, masturbation is not the same thing as sex, nor will it make good in bed by any stretch of the imagination. Not saying it's evil or any such rubbish, but don't delude yourself that you're doing yourself any favors.

Source? Apart from living in LA where you meet people in the industry all the time (Vivid HQ is less than 10 mins from me right now) one of my closest friends was a Porn Camera man for 4 years.

As I said at the beginning of this thread, that TED talk is just a rip off of http://www.yourbrainonporn.com/

Why are so many ing retards defending this talk...?

Where the did I ever say it was going to make sex better, or last longer, or anything even related to what you said in your post?

The whole thing, again, is a cover up for anti-masturbation groups.

Porn doesn't release dopamine (well it does) but the real release comes from the act of masturbating, which is a sexual activity, and the addiction comes from that. Could someone be addicted to masturbating? Probably, but would they also have to be addicted to porn at the same time? No, you could easily be addicted to masturbating with out ever having seen porn, just as the as you can be a sex addict (which is a real and destructive addiction that has dangerous outcomes).

So quit beating around the bush and call this whole thing what it is, its anti-masturbation.

I think the only retarded thing is your poor excuse for a member that is probably dark blue and shaped like a cobra joystick from all the death lock masturbating you subject it to.

So then what the are you getting at? Masturbation in excess, if anything leads leads to premature ejaculation, loss of libido, even physical defects - not lasting longer, so no, it's not at all like "ing everyday" which if you do so, you generally get better at which is a skill worth having. I know you might be slightly less informed on the subject matter here, but ing involves someone else, not just you and or some porn.

No. Who cares? Read the thread title, and stop looking for conspiracies.
