maybe if he plays his bootleg of 'force of gravity' this weekend at eZoo, i'll forgive him!

Totally terrible remix. I understand his statement as to why he did it. I don't buy it, but whatever.. I think an example of him "trying something challenging" is here:

And he did an AWESOME JOB with it, rocked it with flying colors imo... Hope he redeems himself and doesn't keep going this route, I'm sure he knows (if he looks at his social media)...

LOL! My opinion is this: its not my style of song. Probably wont ever be. He most likely did it to reach out to the new and youngest level of fans that could be coming through in the next few years, which doesn't help me out any at the age of 30, LOL! ;) ;)

I understand why he did it, I mean, he already has OUR attention, but he doesnt have the super-youngins (AKA the people that will be coming to his gigs when we are shackin up, making babies and paying mortgages).

In 1998 I wasnt listening to Sasha, James Holden or Tenaglia....I was listening to DJ Sammy, Dirty Vegas and Sonique on the radio.....and ONLY when I heard these cheesy songs did I progress further into similar, more "underground" genres as an EFFECT of what was on the radio.

I dont like the song, and hope that this was his rare attempt to reach out, have kiddies hear this, as to which they progress into listening to his "real" styles. Sometimes you just need a shiny hook to catch the big fish, and this is what the big fish are (unfortunately) demanding nowadays.

That being said, even if he starts to take a direction that is not my style: one song will never, ever make me turn my back or speak poorly on a man who has given me years of brilliance. Moonman. Veracocha. System F. Gouryella. FERRY ING CORSTEN!! 13 years of amazing music, friends made, and nights enjoyed because of this man will NEVER be lost to me. Nor will his incredible generosity to myself and others. He is and ALWAYS will be my favorite DJ because 13 years of memories can not be lost in a 3 minute song.

<3 <3 <3 :) :) :)

That being said, everyone calm the f*ck down, its ONE track, and lets remember why we loved him in the first place! <3 <3 3 minutes in, pure euphoria!!

That's ironic, because the vocals for that track were done by JC Chasez from 'N Sync. lol

Great track nonetheless!

As a huge Ferry Corsten fan going back over ten years as well, I can definitely agree with your sentiment, but even for the style he was going for, he could have put in a bit more effort. Very surprising. :/

Just a thought: a Ferry Corsten Classics party would be awesome! Someone make that happen!! lol

no offense but with all these big dj's who switch style's iam just tired of living in the past with them in order to have a good time.
i wont bad mouth ferry cause i kinda agree with what kelly said about having respect for him for what he has done in the past. but like i said that is the past...i dont listen to his new style or agree with it i just hope its a fad but i seriously doubt it.
it just seems like everyone is jumping the commercial ship all for the mighty $ and it makes me sick, the worst is if they still label it as "trance" :whip:

Yeah, I feel ya man...I'm just glad we had a thriving underground techno/house scene over the last few years. That was a saving grace for me when the trance guys we grew up on fell out circa 2007. Learned so much more interesting music. Also, I'm not forgetting our amazinly talented locals who are staying true to real trance and throwing good parties too. Don't think I have to name drop here, mad respect for these guys!
