Much respect to the ex Mossad chief , he's my new idol ;)
He tells it as it is !!
Mossad is without a doubt the most successful and sophisticated intelligence agency in the world. After watching the interview, its more evident that ever just how professional their people are.
Its interesting to hear that he thinks that Iran's leadership is made up of many rational people. I wonder if that's a signal or if he's actually serious. And that its not just 4 Iranian sites that are involved in nuclear technology, but dozens :stongue:
Cruisers, aircraft carriers and minesweepers from 25 nations are converging on the strategically important Strait of Hormuz in an unprecedented show of force as Israel and Iran move towards the brink of war
It is as if they are really really trying to provoke Iran to fire the first shot before they start going at it.

Hmm I read in a few other articles that this was an annual training exercise that was planned regardless of the recent escalation. These guys barely mention that and make it sound as if they're amassing and staying there in case goes down, typical media overhype. Seeing as how it's a British paper making some heavy speculations, I will in counter speculate that they are just trying to draw everyone's attention away from this...
All factors considered there really isn't much chance of Israel doing anything before the election. Obama has made it more than clear to at least wait that period. Worst case scenario for Israel they go ahead now, Obama gets elected anyways then provides half assed or little support as a result of them not respecting his request.

Military exercises are a very common and typical occurrence around the world. Also this week, there were military exercises in Sea of Japan, in northern Caucasus and even in Sri Lanka and Iran. In this case, the exercises are annual, and just happen to coincide with recent escalations in the Iran-Israel relations. You can be sure that the armada is not on its way to launch an international attack against Iran. Likewise, Iran does not own the strait of Hormuz.
72% of Canadians approve of Harper's action on Iran

90% of Canadians have no clue about the whole picture with Iran beyond what the Western media tosses at them. Sorry, lost my source... :p

Interesting, especially coming from an American, most sense I've heard in a while....
LightsOut
Ventura as President is a pretty scary thing to think about....
I like a lot of what he says though, especially changing the political system so its not limited to a two party race. I've always found it a little odd that a country that considers themselves 'champions of democracy' only has two real political options for the people. Feels kinda like Bell/Rogers 10 years ago, if you don't like either, you're pretty much screwed.
