| Does Europe even have a strong trance scene? Outside of Holland and certain nights on Ibiza, I don't think Europe really cares that much about trance right now. Prague isn't even a clubbing city, let alone a leader in the trance scene. If you wanna get wasted in cellar bars though, you got an ample supply. |

I think Toronto is a great city to live in for Trance. The real trance nights we get (few a year) are a lot more than most North American cities, and for that I am glad.
Nothing compared to the regular weekly trance parties thrown in and around England, but when you compare it to North America, it is the place to be. |

Even in Holland trance isnt very popular right now (or for a few years really). Every couple of weeks theres a big event or club night with trance, but otherwise techno is most popular and events everywhere. Luminosity throws a few parties each year, ASOT, Electronic Family (if you consider it trance), Quest4Trance does a few big parties per year as well. Also Grotesque are really trying to throw big parties in terms of trance but again its only a few times per year. Also at some festivals theyll have a trance stage. The only thing Den Bosch really has is ASOT once a year lol
Germany to my knowledge (I dont know too much on Germanys scene) the only place for trance is really Frankfurt or sometimes Hamburg. Other cities are usually just techno/house.. |

i was talking with a friend from belgium who was in nyc last night for vacation, anyway i asked him about the scene over there
he said belgium now a days is pretty much mostly trouse. they dont have many trance nights if they do its mostly classics night.
he said back in the day belgium was the mecca for trance music. now a days it just seems like england and holland get consistant trance bookings. iam not too sure on other cities or countries
nyc has been getting some really solid trance guys, but the crowd who supports it is a whole other story |
