This is absolutely your best track. Fantastic. Finish it so I can buy it.

Thanks for that chaps, will finish this fo sure.

This is draft 3 - proper break towards the end.

Any thoughts about this final break bit - where the dubstep drums are?

I'm slightly wondering what more to add there, especailly around the last vocal bit - should I layer up the piano ther?

It's just really good. I can't, in good conscience, advise you to change a thing.

Excellent. I think it shows it shows a lot of talent that you can make a lot of different styles.

The only thing I'd take a look at now is the vocal, which has a weird forced stereo effect about it. I can't quite pin my finger on what it is. It's also a little shrill around the mid/highs. Fix that and wrap it up i'd say.

Still outstanding ;)

stop changing things seriously, any potential changes you do won't help. If people tell you it's fine it is. Go sign this before you ruin it!

not my style personally but the mixing is well done bro. I like the dynamics going on with the different lfo sounds you got going - they are all unique bassy freqs that are not easy to get clear so good job on that. I will say I found the beat to be a little repetitive, and I believe part of this reason isnt because of a lack of sounds available in the mix, but rather, as somebody above kindly mentioned above: the vocals need to be eq'd further up into the mix, the funky padlike leads you have need to be dynamically equalized as well to punch their dominant frequencies out, and maybe add some glitchy percussive builds to the ends of each phrase to kind of crecendo a change coming. Just my .02 but overall considering I dont really much about this genre I think mix wise was pretty spot on bro so fistbump on that.

atta boy. Looking forward to hearing the finished product. Just put up a WIP that is more finished than not, need some last critique on it. Def check when you get a chance.

Currently putting together some demo tracks with this awesome vocalist and we want to have the best product avail for prospective listeners/labels (also need to find a good place to send.. fml)

so yeah Def let me know if you want some more critique on this or future tracks and likewise would love some on your end.

drum programming is rather atypical and sound weird. At least have the main pattern a 2 bar pattern. The kick and snare are not working. The drums really don't gel at all which is rather important for this style. You are using compression in a way that doesn't work for break beats. The bass is too static. You are emphasizing the icing ie all those weird sounds while subjugating what actually matters ie drums and bass. And the mix is a mess.
