| 250 for a suite to suite upgrade? WTF? |

I just want 8.4 to be out of beta and work as advertised. I got several crashes with Zebra when trying to use the beta.
I have to wonder if the Live 9 upgrade will be worth it for people that use other compressors and EQs. Upgrading EQ8 and a few other bells and whistles just doesn't seem worth the cost.
I just want automation curves and working 64bit. Half of that I'll get with 8.4 hopefully. |

Recording automation into session clips? Think that was probably the most sought after feature so i guess a lot of people will be happy with that
Couple of new things there from a quick glance, ill upgrade anyway, hope its stable for me this time round ;) |

The new midi editing features are most welcome.
I never thought suit was really worth it, but now with max for live included I may be persuaded to upgrade.
Think I'll upgrade afterall, but again I'm hoping it's stable.
Still no dual screen though by the looks of it... grrrr. |

Oh, just noticed....if i upgrade to Live 8 suite now for €164 i will get Live 9 suite for free!
If i upgrade from 8 to 9, just standard, that costs me €129
probably a sneaky way to get you locked in to buying the "suite" version from then on ?? |

i forget where i saw it, but pretty sure 9 is dual screen.
really liking the new midi features (curves!) and some of the upgraded and new native plugins |

| I still don't find a really really good reason to upgrade... hoping they shown on some more bells and whistles, I mean we waited all these years for a few touches here and there? C'mon Ableton team, impress me, impress the nation, impress...... lol |

I'm looking forward to upgrading, no doubt..... especially considering I haven't got Max For Live yet.
However, I they feel they could of done so much more with the upgrade...... surely there must be more features than the ones that were advertised?
The Push controller looks awesome as well, good job I didn't rush into buying the latest Maschine. |
