Yeah, it's Tilda Swinton reciting passages of Kafka on a few interludes. I find them quite annoying actually, they mar what is otherwise quite a nice album.

It's not uncommon to come across this kind of material once you veer into more abstract and/or noisy territory. Here's a creepy one from Peter Rehberg's equally creepy album Work For GV 2004-2008, where he worked with Dennis Cooper to make some of these types of tracks:

In terms of creepy, this has to be up there, although it's not original. The fact that it's Jim Jones makes it even more creepy. The heartbeat-like bass in the background is genius.

In a similar vein, the inlay for Haunted Dancehall by The Sabres Of Paradise contains excerpts from a fictional novel called The Haunted Dancehall by a James Woodbourne, telling the story of a seedy Londoner called McGuire prowling the early morning streets after returning from a rave, only to discover something sinister behind a boarded-up shop front. Fantastic accompaniment to a really unique album.

The Dixon LP might not be something groundbreaking, but still, I found it a breath of fresh air. The overall flow of the album is very well put together, in my opinion.
Yea, the "Indirect Light" was the true gem in the EP. Loved the creativity. For me, at least, I've haven't seen it often done in the EP format.
